GOWLAND TO RIDE AT SILVERSTONE
Graeme Gowland will step onboard the Seton Tuning Yamaha YZF-R6 at Silverstone this coming weekend (28-30 September), to contest the penultimate round of the 2012 Motorpoint British Supersport Championship protected by Datatag.
For the 26 year old from Northumberland, Silverstone will be a welcome return to both the British Superbike paddock and the Supersport class. ‘Gowla’ has not raced in the MCE British Superbike Championship since parting company with Team WFR Honda after Brands Hatch in July, but the 2007 Spanish Supersport Champion is hungry for a return and will bring a wealth of experience to the Seton Tuning Yamaha set up.
Phil Seton: “The whole team, and myself in particular are extremely excited about the prospect of working with Graeme this weekend. He is one of the most prestigious talents on the UK racing scene and it is a great compliment to Seton Tuning Yamaha that Graeme has agreed to come and race with us at Silverstone.”
Graeme Gowland: “First of all, I would like to thank Phil Seton for giving me this chance to go out and enjoy my racing again this weekend at Silverstone. I haven't raced since Brands Hatch, so I am really looking forward to getting back on a bike and doing my best for the team. I have had some time away from racing, which I needed, but have been keeping fit riding motocross. I'm also really looking forward to getting back on a Supersport bike after two years on a Superbike.”
